Poland: Industrial production declines slightly in November
December 19, 2012
In November, industrial production fell 0.8% over the same month the year before, which contrasted both the 4.6% increase tallied in October and market expectations of a 0.5% rise. The deterioration mainly reflected a contraction in manufacturing as well as in mining and quarrying.
On a month-on-month basis, industrial production fell a seasonally adjusted 0.9%, which contrasted the 1.9% rise seen in October. Moreover, the trend deteriorated, with annual average growth in industrial production falling from 3.7% in October to 2.9% in November.
