Greece: Industrial production drops for fourth year in a row in 2011
February 10, 2012
In December, industrial production declined 11.3% over the same month the year before, which followed a 7.8% contraction in November. Industrial output deteriorated due to a sharp decline in manufacturing and electricity, while mining and quarrying as well as water supply improved. In the full year 2011, industrial production declined 8.4%, which was below the 5.9% drop seen in 2010.
