Denmark: Inflation remains stable in November

December 10, 2012

In November, consumer prices fell 0.08% over the previous month, which matched the decrease seen in October. According to Statistics Denmark (DST), the reading reflected how a drop in transport and housing prices offset higher prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Annual headline inflation remained unchanged at October's 2.3%. In addition, annual average inflation was unchanged at October's 2.5%. Meanwhile, HICP inflation (based on the harmonized index of consumer prices) inched down to 2.2% from 2.3% in October.
