July 24, 2014

In July, consumer prices rose 0.23% over the previous month, which followed the 0.30% increase recorded in June. According to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, July’s increase mainly resulted from higher prices for food and foodstuff as well as for housing and construction materials.
