United Arab Emirates: Inflation continues to moderate in November

Consumer prices fell 0.30% in November from the previous month, following October’s 0.48% decline. November’s reading came on the back of lower prices for transportation; housing, water, electricity and gas; recreation and culture; and furniture and household goods.

Inflation fell from 1.6% in October to 1.3% in November, while annual average inflation was stable at October’s 3.3% in November.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast participants expect inflation to average 2.3% in 2019, down 0.2 percentage points from last month’s forecast, and 2.6% in 2020.
