Ukraine: Consumer prices continue to fall in January
February 7, 2013
In January, consumer prices rose 0.2% over the previous month, which was just in line with the reading recorded in the previous month. The monthly print mainly reflects higher prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco as well as for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels.
Despite the monthly increase, consumer prices dropped in January 0.2% over the same month last year, mirroring the result seen in December.
