Sweden: Industrial output bounces back in February
Industrial output grew 0.2% in month-on-month seasonally-adjusted terms in February, which contrasted January’s 0.9% decrease. Looking at the details of the release, the turnaround was largely driven by pickups in manufacturing and mining output.
On an annual basis, industrial production rose at a more moderate pace of 0.7% in February (January: +1.1% yoy). Accordingly, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 7.6% in February, down from January’s 7.8%.
