Sweden: Industrial production dips in February
Industrial output excluding energy slid 0.3% month-on-month in seasonally-adjusted terms in February (January: +1.0% month-on-month). The decrease was due to notably lower mining and quarrying production and slightly lower manufacturing output.
On an annual basis, industrial production fell 1.2% in February, following January’s 0.8% fall. The trend pointed down with annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 0.7% in February from January’s 1.0% reading.
