Spain: Retail sales decelerate in March
April 28, 2016
In March, retail sales rose 4.3% over the same month last year, which was below February’s 7.4% increase. The result came mainly on the back of increasing sales in services. On a seasonal- and calendar-adjusted basis, retail sales in March expanded 4.4% over the same month of the previous year, which was above February’s 3.6% rise.
Meanwhile, the annual average growth in retail sales was stable at February’s 3.8%.
