Slovenia: Inflation rises in January
Consumer prices fell 0.9% over the previous month in January, following December’s 0.2% decline. January’s print reflected lower prices for clothing and footwear, health, transport, and recreation and culture.
Conversely, inflation jumped to 2.1% from 1.8% in December. Meanwhile, harmonized inflation accelerated to 2.3% in January from 2.0% in the previous month. Lastly, annual average inflation edged up to 1.7% in January from 1.6% in December.
