Slovenia: Inflation falls for second consecutive month
November 30, 2012
In November, consumer prices slid 0.1% over the previous month, which contrasted the 0.1% increase recorded in October. The monthly drop reflected lower prices for fuel as well as for housing, water, electricity and gas. As a result of the monthly fall, annual headline inflation declined from 2.7% in October to 2.3% in November, which marked a second consecutive drop and the lowest level since June. Annual HICP inflation (based on the harmonized index of consumer prices) fell from 3.2% in October to 2.8% in November, driving annual average HICP inflation to 2.7%.
