Slovenia: Industrial production contracts again in December
February 7, 2013
In December, industrial production declined a working day-adjusted 1.2% over the same month the previous year, which followed the 3.6% contraction observed in November. The print mainly reflected a fall in mining and quarrying as well as in manufacturing output.
On a month-on-month seasonally-adjusted basis, industrial output rose 2.7% in December, which contrasted the 4.0% drop seen in November.
In the full year 2012, industrial production rose a soft 0.4%, which was well below the 2.8% expansion tallied in 2011.
