Slovenia: Growth in industrial output accelerates in April
June 10, 2015
In April, industrial production expanded by 4.2% over the same month last year. The print marked a slight acceleration from the 4.0% increase tallied in March. According to the statistical office, April’s reading reflected a strong increase in manufacturing, which more than offset contractions in mining and quarrying as well as electricity, gas and water supply.
On a monthly basis, industrial output recorded seasonally-adjusted flat growth in April, which was below the 0.6% increase recorded in the previous month.
