March 13, 2017

In January, industrial production grew a robust 7.6% from the same month of the previous year, which marked an acceleration from December’s 5.8% expansion. FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect industrial production to increase 4.0% in 2017, which is up 0.1 percentage points from last month’s forecast. For 2018, the panel sees industrial growth accelerating to 4.9%.
