Slovakia: Industrial output growth expands in September
November 16, 2017
Industrial production growth expanded 2.3% year-on-year in September, contrasting August’s 0.5% expansion. The increase was mainly due to an expansion in manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products, which was partially offset by a contraction in manufacture of transport equipment.
On the other hand, industrial production grew 0.8% in monthly terms after August’s 2.4% increase.
Despite September’s expansion, annual average growth in industrial output fell from 4.5% in August to 4.3% in September.
