Romania: Annual variation in consumer prices turns more negative in November

December 12, 2016

Consumer prices inched up 0.1% in November from the previous month, below October’s 0.4% rise. November’s figure reflects small increases in the price of food and non-food items, while the price of services fell compared to the prior month.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists see consumer prices falling 1.3% on average in 2016, which is unchanged from last month’s forecast. For 2017, panelists expect average inflation of 1.8%, which is down 0.1 percentage points from last month’s estimate.
