November 29, 2015

The consumer confidence index fell from minus 13.4 points in October to minus 17.3 points in November, marking the lowest value since December 2014. According to the Statistical Institute, the decrease in consumer confidence reflected deteriorations in all components of the index, with households’ view of the future economic situation recording the sharpest fall.

The economic climate indicator remained in optimistic territory, although it did deteriorate from October’s 1.2 points to a seven-month low of 0.9 points in November.
