Poland: Industrial output growth cools in July
Industrial production growth moderated to 9.8% compared to the same month a year earlier in July, following June’s 18.1% expansion. July’s slowdown was largely attributed to a softer growth in manufacturing production, as well as in water supply output.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose 0.7% in seasonally-adjusted terms in July, which was above June’s 0.1% increase. Moreover, the trend improved further, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at plus 12.4% in July, up from June’s 11.6%.
