Poland: Industrial production rebounds in October

In October, industrial production rose 4.6% over the same month last year, which contrasted the 5.2% decline tallied in September. In addition, the print exceeded market expectations, which had industrial production increasing 2.9%. The improvement was broad-based, with all four main sub-categories rebounding compared to the previous month. On a month-on-month basis, industrial production rose a seasonally adjusted 1.9%, which contrasted the 1.4% decrease seen in September. That said, the trend deteriorated, with annual average growth in industrial production edging down from 3.9% in September to 3.7% in October.
