Poland: Industrial production accelerates in February

In February, industrial production rose 6.7% over the same month last year, marking an improvement compared to the 1.3% growth recorded in January. The acceleration reflected an almost across the board improvement, with manufacturing in particular recording a strong expansion.
On a monthly basis, industrial production expanded 0.2% over the previous month in seasonally-adjusted terms, marking a rebound from the 0.2% drop recorded in January. Meanwhile, annual average growth in industrial production increased from 4.8% in January to 5.0% in February.
