Poland: Industrial output growth slows in March
Industrial output grew 17.3% in year-on-year terms in March, which followed February’s 17.6% increase. Looking at the details of the release, mining and quarrying production gained steam in March, while manufacturing output grew at a softer pace.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, factory output rose at a softer pace of 1.9% in March (February: +2.1% mom). Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 17.3% in March (February: +19.5%). This signals a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
