Netherlands: Industrial production decelerates in September
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 0.5% in working day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in September, following a 2.4% rise in the previous month.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, the reading for manufacturing worsened in September (+0.1% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis vs +2.0% in August). In contrast, readings improved for mining and quarrying (+3.1% vs +2.2% in August) and water collection and distribution (+3.2% vs -3.4% in August).
On a calendar-adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was up 3.7% in September, following a 0.5% increase in the previous month.
