Netherlands: Business confidence declines further in April

Business sentiment continues to deteriorate. In April, the seasonally adjusted producer confidence indicator elaborated by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) dropped to minus 3.3 points, down from minus 2.6 points in March. The current reading represents the lowest level since November 2011. According to CBS, April's decline in business sentiment was broad based, as all sub-categories deteriorated. Manufacturers' opinions on their order positions and future output deteriorated slightly. However, sentiment regarding stocks of finished products remained unchanged.
