Luxembourg: Harmonized inflation eases in April
May 8, 2019
Consumer prices rose 0.2% month-on-month in April, unchanged from March’s turnout. The print largely reflected higher prices for air travel, although they were mostly offset by lower oil prices.
Inflation came in at 2.1% in April, a tad below March’s 2.2% result. Meanwhile, harmonized inflation fell to 2.2% in April (March: 2.4%) and annual average inflation edged up 1.9%.
