Lithuania: Industrial output growth wanes in September

Industrial output expanded 3.1% year on year in September (August: +17.0% yoy). September's downturn largely reflected a deceleration manufacturing and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning output.
On a monthly basis, industrial production dove 8.2% in seasonally adjusted terms in September, contrasting August’s 4.7% expansion and marking the worst result since April 2020. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at an over one-year low of 2.0%, down from August's 4.6%.
