Lithuania: Industrial production growth surges in June

In June, industrial production expanded 11.2% over the same month last year, coming in significantly above May’s 1.3% expansion and marking the fastest expansion in over two years. June’s acceleration reflects a large jump in manufacturing output.
On a sequential basis, industrial production increased 0.8% over the previous month in seasonally-adjusted terms, coming in below the previous month’s 1.7%. Annual average growth in industrial production increased from 2.5% in May to 3.3% in June, the highest reading in a year-and-a-half.
