Lithuania: Economic growth moderates slightly in Q2

According to the flash estimate released by the National Statistics Office on 30 July, GDP rose 3.1% in the second quarter over the same period of last year. The reading represents a small deceleration compared to the 3.2% increase registered in the first quarter.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, GDP grew a seasonally- and working-day adjusted 0.7% in Q2, which was equal to the expansion observed in Q1. More detailed data will be released on 29 August.
