Hungary: Growth in industrial production decelerates in June

According to preliminary data released by the statistical institute (KSH) on 7 August, industrial output in June rose a working-day adjusted 6.0% over the same month last year, marking a deceleration compared to the 6.4% increase observed in May and the slowest expansion in four months.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose a seasonally- and working-day adjusted 1.1% in June, which contrasted May’s mild 0.2% contraction. Meanwhile, annual average growth in industrial production eased from 6.8% in May to 6.4% in June.
