In March, economic activity rose 3.3% over the same month last year, according to the monthly indicator for economic activity (IMAE, Indice Mensual de la Actividad Economica). The reading was below the 3.4% increase observed in February and marks the lowest reading seen since July 2010.

Despite the slowdown recorded in March, the trend remained stable, with annual average growth in economic activity remaining at February's 3.5%.
