Greece: Inflation slows in October from the prior month
Latest reading: Harmonized consumer prices rose 1.6% on a year-on-year basis in October, following a 1.8% rise in the prior month. Food, housing and education saw the steepest price rises in October, while price pressures for household equipment, transport and communication were more modest.
Meanwhile, consumer prices increased 2.0% in annual terms in October, following a 1.9% rise in the prior month.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices fell 0.09% in October on a month-on-month basis, following a 0.54% increase in the previous month.
