Greece: Industrial production contracts further in February

In February, industrial production fell a working-day adjusted 8.3% over the same month last year, which followed a 6.0% contraction in January (previously reported: -5.0% year-on-year). The February print reflected a sharp deterioration in most of the sub-components, particularly in manufacturing output as well as in mining and quarrying. As a result of the February drop, the trend deteriorated, with annual average variation in industrial production falling from minus 8.4% in January to minus 8.7% in February.
