Ghana: Inflation continues to fall in November

In November, consumer prices increased 0.82% from the previous month, a smaller increase compared to October’s 1.39%. November’s print mainly reflected higher prices for transport and education.

Inflation dropped from October’s 15.8% to 15.5% in November, the lowest value in over two years. Annual average inflation edged down slightly to 17.7% in November from 17.9% in October.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect inflation to average 12.1% in 2017, which is down 0.3 percentage points from last month’s forecast. The panel sees inflation at 10.5% in 2018.
