Estonia: Consumer prices fall in June

Consumer prices in June fell 0.2% over the previous month, which contrasted May’s 0.2% increase. According to Statistics Estonia, the result was influenced the most by a drop in electricity, heat energy and fuels.
Consumer prices fell 0.1% in June compared to the same month of last year, which contrasted the 0.1% increase tallied in May. Meanwhile, annual HICP inflation rose from a 0.4% increase in April to 0.5% in May (the last month for which data are available). Annual average HICP inflation in May was unchanged at April’s 0.1% increase.
