July 6, 2015
In June, consumer prices rose 0.41% over the previous month, which followed the 0.18% increase tallied in May. Higher prices for food and alcoholic beverages and transportation were the largest contributors to the result, followed by prices for furniture and household items.
Headline inflation ticked up from 4.6% in May to 4.9% in June. Annual average inflation also saw a marginal increase as it ticked up from May’s 4.0% to 4.1% in June.
