April 20, 2017
Danish consumers were more upbeat in April as their outlook on the economy improved markedly. The consumer confidence index came in at 7.4 points, the best result in 20 months (March: 6.2 points), as Statistics Denmark (DST) reported.
April’s survey reflected that consumers were more positive both about how the economy had performed in the past year and how it would perform in the next 12 months. Consumers’ assessment of their past financial situation also improved.
