Denmark: Consumer confidence increases in April
April 29, 2016
The consumer confidence indicator developed by Statistics Denmark (DST) increased from 3.6 points in March to 5.5 points in April, hitting a four-month high.
April’s reading reflected consumers’ more positive perceptions of the current economic situation in Denmark compared to a year ago. Households were also more upbeat regarding their personal financial situation. Conversely, consumers were less optimistic about making big-ticket purchases compared to the previous month.
