Denmark: Businesses less confident in April
April 30, 2014
In April, the business confidence indicator developed by Statistics Denmark (DST) fell from March's 12 points to 9 points. The indicator still remains above the 0-point threshold, which indicates that optimists outnumber pessimists.
According to DST, April's reading came on the back of a deceleration in production expectations as well as in stocks of finished goods.
FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect gross fixed investment growth to reach 2.6% in 2014, which is down 0.1 percentage points from last month's forecast. For 2015, panelists forecast an expansion of 3.6%.
