Denmark: Business confidence negative in April

In April, the seasonally adjusted manufacturing confidence indicator elaborated by Statistics Denmark (DST) fell to minus 4 points from the 4 points observed in March. As a result, the index is now below the 0-point threshold that separates optimistic from pessimistic territory for the first time since December 2012.
According to DST, order books worsened the most over the previous month, followed by production expectations for the next three months.
FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panellists expect gross fixed investment to reach 1.4% in 2013, which is down 0.6 percentage pointsfrom last month's forecasts. For 2014, panellists expect an expansion of 2.8%.
