Denmark: Business confidence improves in July

In July, the seasonally adjusted manufacturing confidence indicator elaborated by Statistics Denmark (DST) rose to 5 points from 1 point in June. The reading represents the highest value recorded since February. Furthermore, with the monthly increase, the index moved further into positive territory, which indicates an optimistic outlook amongst manufacturers for the next three months. According to DST, July's rise in business sentiment was driven by an improvement in manufacturers' production expectations for the next three months.
