Denmark: Business confidence improves in April
April 29, 2015
In April, the business confidence indicator developed by Statistics Denmark (DST) rose to minus 11 points from March’s minus 16 points. The indicator is still resting well below the 0-point threshold, which indicates that pessimists outnumber optimists.
According to DST, April’s reading came on the back of an increase in production expectations and an improvement in total backlog. On the other hand, completed inventories inched down in April.
