Denmark: Business confidence deteriorates in June
June 29, 2015
In June, the business confidence indicator developed by Statistics Denmark (DST) fell to minus 9 points from May’s revised minus 7 points (previously estimated: -6 points). The indicator is still resting well below the 0-point threshold, which indicates that pessimists outnumber optimists.
According to DST, June’s reading came mainly on the back of a decrease in production expectations. On the other hand, total backlogs improved and completed inventories rose in June.
