Cyprus: Industrial output slows in May
Annual working day-adjusted industrial production rose 0.2% in May, following the revised 0.8% expansion logged in April (previously reported: -0.3% year-on-year). May’s moderation was largely due to narrower output gains in mining and quarrying, and a sharper contraction in the electricity supply sector.
Meanwhile, the annual average growth in industrial production declined to 5.4% in May from 6.3% in April.
