July 16, 2019

Consumer prices fell 0.3% from the previous month in June, contrasting the 0.6% increase recorded in May. According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (CBS), June’s drop largely reflected lower prices for clothing and footwear, and transport.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect inflation to average 1.0% in 2019, which is down 0.1 percentage points from last month’s forecast. In 2020, the panel expects inflation to average 1.6%.
