Croatia: Industrial production growth decelerates in December
January 29, 2016
In December, industrial output rose 0.9% over the same month last year in working-day adjusted terms, which was below November’s 2.7% increase and marked the lowest reading in almost a year. The deceleration reflected a downturn in all categories of the index, with manufacturing in particular growing at the slowest pace in six-months.
On a monthly basis, industrial production in December fell 1.2% in seasonally-adjusted terms, which followed November’s 0.8% decrease. As a consequence, the overall trend fell from November’s 2.8% to 2.5% in December.
