Croatia: Industrial production growth decelerates in April
May 29, 2015
In April, industrial output rose 1.2% over the same month last year in working-day adjusted terms, coming in below March’s 3.5% increase and marking a three-month low. The fall reflected a deceleration in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning as well as in manufacturing. Conversely, the mining sector grew at a faster pace compared to the previous month in April.
On a monthly basis, industrial production in April decreased 4.1% in seasonally-adjusted terms, contrasting March’s 2.4% rise. The overall trend improved as annual average growth in industrial production inched up from March’s 1.0% to 1.1% in April.
