Croatia: Industrial production accelerates in June
July 29, 2011
In June, industrial production climbed 1.8% over the same month the last year, which was up from the previous month's 1.2% increase and represented the third consecutive month of expanding industrial output, after three consecutive months of decline. However, a month-on-month comparison does not corroborate the improvement suggested by the annual figures. Industrial output contracted a seasonally adjusted 0.30% over the previous month, following a 2.68% contraction in May. Meanwhile, the annual average variation in industrial production stepped up from minus 1.3% in May to minus 1.0% in June.
