China: Investment stabilizes in November
December 9, 2012
In the first eleven months of the year, urban fixed-asset investment excluding rural households (FAI) rose 20.7% over the same period the previous year. The print matched the result tallied in the previous month and came in slightly below the 20.9% rise expected by the market.
Investment in the January-November period mainly reflected how an acceleration in the services category was offset by lower growth in the industrial and primary sectors.
Compared to the previous month, investment in urban fixed assets increased a seasonally adjusted 1.26% in November, which followed the 1.90% rise seen in October.
