China: Industrial output grows at fastest pace since June 2021 in January–February
Industrial output grew 7.5% year-on-year in January–February (December: +4.3% yoy). The print marked the best result since June 2021. The reading was largely driven by faster growth in manufacturing output. In contrast, energy production weakened.
On a monthly basis, factory output rose 0.3% in seasonally-adjusted terms in February, matching January’s expansion.
