Belgium: Industrial production improves in November
January 24, 2012
In November, industrial production increased 3.9% over the same month the previous year, which came in above the 3.0% expansion observed in October. The November reading was mainly driven by an acceleration in the manufacturing sector. A month-on-month comparison confirms the improvement suggested by the annual figures as industrial output increased a seasonally adjusted 1.9% in November, which contrasted the 1.4% drop observed in October.
