Belarus: Inflation edges up in November
Consumer prices rose 0.6% over the previous month in November, inching up from October’s 0.5% increase. The result reflected higher food prices, which offset lower services prices. In a similar vein, core consumer prices—which exclude volatile components—rose 0.4% month-on-month in November, down a notch from a month earlier.
Inflation ticked up to 5.0% in November after the 4.9% outturn logged in October. Meanwhile, annual average inflation came in at 4.8% in November, unchanged from the previous month’s reading.
